I am a PhD candidate in Classical Philology at the University of Salamanca (USAL) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) under an international joint supervision agreement with a dissertation focused on the closure strategies found in the poetic books of Hellenistic and Augustan poets like Callimachus, Propertius and Horace. I work in a project directed by Professor Bernardo Berruecos named “Seminario de estudios sobre la historia de la poesía griega y latina” (Seminar of Studies in the History of Greek and Latin poetry) in the Center of Classical Studies of the Institute of Philological Research at UNAM where I have special interest exploring the relations between classics and the Mexican cultural ideology in the XIX and XX centuries.
