Barbara Graziosi is Professor of Classics at Princeton University.  She has written widely on ancient Greek and Roman literature and their receptions, particularly on Homer, ancient literary criticism, and ancient biography. Her latest book is The Gods of Olympus: A History (Profile, Metropolitan/Holt, and six translations). She is associate editor of the Classical Receptions Journal (Oxford University Press), and directs a large research project funded by the European Research Council: Living Poets.
